Please welcome our newest member Krista-Alana Travis who joins us as our Digital Marketing Manager. Krista comes to us with 9 years of Marketing and Public Relations experience and is ready to wear all the many hats of our Marketing Department! She’ll will be working in close partnership with Margie and Linda to lead our Marketing initiatives for all of Drape Kings many products and services.

Krista received her BA from Rutgers College in Journalism and Media Studies. She worked her way up from her first job as a PR Assistant at Coleman Entertainment Group to becoming the Marketing Manager for a very high-end wall covering company, Phillip Jeffries, where she upgraded all their existing marketing materials, and vastly increased their social media presence. Luckily for us Krista “thrives” in a fast pace environment, and she’s familiar with textiles!

An avid salsa dancer, Krista is a member of a semi-pro salsa team, and she’s a dog lover as well. Proud mom of Smidgen 😊 Please stop by the Marketing Area in 2C and give her a warm welcome!

Please welcome our newest member Peter Gorneault, Technical Director in our Production Team. Peter comes with 17+ years of theater and production experience. He will be managing our more technical jobs that have multi-layered complexity, and he’ll also be involved with our AV Drop projects. 

Peter will be working in close partnership with Lisa and Nancy to co-lead our overall production team from accurate quotes to seamless execution all while continuing to deliver our legendary customer service every day. And in order for us to ramp him up with exceptional training, he’ll be participating in all key job preproduction meetings as well as our weekly group production and AV Drop meetings.

Pete received his MFA in Theatrical Lighting and Scenic Design from the University of Georgia. He has worked as a Technical Director for Stony Brook University, Production Manager for the Mark Morris Dance Group, Production Manager and Event Designer for Bentley Meeker stage lighting company. Peter loves the outdoors and prefers to spend his free time hiking and camping.

Kyle Eng will be the teams newest addition. He will be working closely with Danny as our new Data Analyst Intern. Kyle previously worked as an environmental scientist before entering the world of Data. In his free time he likes to fish, work out, and play tennis.

On behalf of our Drape Kings family, we are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of our veteran stage hand, Joe Miller, on Saturday, June 29th. Today, Monday, July 1st at noon EST, we would like to take a moment of silence to honor an original Duke of Drape. Joe worked with our company for more than 10 years, and became close friends with many of our staff. He was very dedicated and willing to always go the extra lengths to assure our workmanship on site met with the quality standards of our brand. To say he will he missed understates the hole Joe’s passing leaves on the fabric of our company and our employees. We offer our sympathy and prayers to his family and loved ones who are deeply impacted by this great loss. Jacob has been working in the live production and theater industry for the past fourteen years. During this tenure he has worked with companies across many states, and most recently with the very creative Wooster Group in NYC.

We’re excited to have him!
