Please help us welcome Ryan Perera! He will be joining the New Jersey location as our Tradeshow/Web Manager, reporting to Margie, Marketing Director and working alongside Krista.

In Ryan’s previous role, he worked on/designed/participated in 30 Tradeshows per year. With this hands-on knowledge he will be a great asset to Drape Kings

His prior experience was as an E-Commerce Coordinator with Citijewels and from there he became the U.S web manager for the French owned company La Maison De Chocolat.

Ryan brings important skills and experience to our Marketing department. He actually spent his first week on the road at LDI (Live Design International) with our Trade Show team, and Dru, our very own CEO. 

Ryan’s first in office day will be Tuesday, 11/26 just in time for Friendsgiving!!

Trevor Dotson joins the DC office as our newest AV-Drop Production Coordinator! He reports to HP Dodge, DC Branch Operations Manager.

Trevor comes to Drape Kings with a fantastic scenic design background and skillset, from working as a production assistant in CES booth design to freelance work with theatres for installs, and scenic backdrops. One of his greatest set-ups was for “Brotherhood” an off-Broadway play.

Trevor spends his free time with Auggie his Sheepadoodle (cross hybrid of an Old English Sheepdog & Poodle) and enjoys cooking as well.

DK NJ showered a little love on our resident mommies-to-be, Melissa and Marie <3 We so happy for you and can’t wait to swoon over the pictures of the beautiful babies!

Cayla will be joining the New Jersey Team as our newest Production Coordinator! Luckily for us, after living in Florida for many years, she recently relocated back to Jersey.

Cayla is a positive, dedicated team player who is looking to grow her career with us at Drape Kings. She’s worked in Colorado, Florida as well as New York, and brings with her a wealth of experience in the world of events! 

Cayla graduated from Valencia College where she studied Business Management and Operations. She loves animals, has two super cute Boston terriers, and in her free time she enjoys live music, fashion and going to events. Cayla is sincerely looking forward to becoming a part of the Drape Kings team!

Introducing Matthew!

Please join us in welcoming our newest DC employee Matthew O’Donnell. He will be working as a an AV-Drop Install Tech. 

Matt has a vast knowledge of welding, rigging and carpentry, and has created custom décor, furniture and signage for short term events.

We believe he will be a great addition to the team. Please welcome Matt to the kingdom!

Please give a warm welcome to Sean Southwick. He joins the NJ DK team as our Carpet Services Manager.

While in high school, Sean worked with Jim Flack Flooring in Farmingdale, NY and developed a passion for the flooring trade. He continued to work while also attending Suffolk Community College, and from there he started his free-lance career as sub-contractor for The Home Depot where he obtained his General Floor Covering Installation Certification (GFCI)

Sean was subsequently hired for his flooring skills in the Event Industry, which then brought him to us!

During his free time, Sean likes to spend time with friends and family as well as go to the gym. He enjoys many sports including golf and softball. Please welcome him into the kingdom!

Please Welcome Breanna!

Breanna joins the New Jersey Branch as our newest production coordinator. She is an enthusiastic and detail-oriented event manager with a winning attitude, and strong history of client satisfaction.

Breanna focuses on setting high expectations and raising service standards with all her customers.

Breanna graduated from The Institute of Culinary Education, and comes to us with over 10 years of customer service experience. In the last five years she’s been an Event Manager working both at Bowlero (maybe we saw her at our bowling parties??) and Humdingers where she was the Event and Party Director, managing the customer service experience’s from start to finish.

With her background and skill set we know Breanna will fit right in here, and hit the ground running.

We welcome her to the Kingdom!
